How to train your dragon

Description:
A hapless young Viking who aspires to hunt dragons becomes the unlikely friend of a young dragon himself, and learns there may be more to the creatures than he assumed.

Started watching it halfway through, but it was on again right after on FX, so then I watched it entirely. At first, when I watched it the first time; I thought wow he found an injured dragon and is now helping it... but when I saw the beginning I didn't see all the nice wonderful stuff that I did before. Overall, I thought the movie was kinda of cute, and that dragons seem to act a lot like dogs...

Mrs. Doubtfire

Description:
After a bitter divorce, an actor disguises himself as a female housekeeper to spend secret time with his children held in custody by his Ex.

A very interesting movie. In the end I don't think it was a very good ending, yes the main conflict is resolved, but it felt kind of empty. It was a funny movie, honestly if someone marries a voice actor they should be prepared for at least a little something...odd.

Big Top Scooby-Doo!

Description:
Scooby-Doo and the gang go on vacation to Atlantic City, but they get involved in a mystery at a circus.

Classic Scooby, where the gang goes somewhere and a mystery just happens to await them...this time it ended in a slight twist...more than one bad guy. Some development on Shaggy and Scooby's friendship. I honestly thought that Shaggy was into a different type of music genre, but I guess it goes with the movie soo...at least the movie went along with some things the same like Daphne's motorcycle skills.

Yay for

...school, for projects done online
I'm making a website for AP Comparitve, on two different things: Blogger and Google Sites I would love if I got some feedback on them to see which one is better and the one I should end up using.
...for recruiters, being funny
Yes, military recruiters are funny...and the best part is that they probably don't even know what it is that is funny
*edit: I have taken the links down, due to the project being done....ended up using Google Sites, since I got it to do what I wanted it to do, but Blogger looked cooler July 12, 2012 2:00 p.m.

Dark Tales of Japan

Description:
A collection of five short horror films that are directed by five notable Japanese film directors.

Five different tales on one disc: the spiderwoman (so nothing like spiderman, which is what I thought of for some reason, seems to start off really weird but it makes sense in the end), crevices(not the best thing to watch in the dark with loud neighbors O.o), the sacrifice (bittersweet, since it was about how strong the bonds were between mother and daughter, but sad that the bond leaves someone dead), blonde kwaidan (I didn't understand it at all, but in the sense of Japanese horror it was great), and presentinent (Interesting, I loved this one, somehow it was almost entirely in an elevator, kudos for being able to do that). They all ended in a different way than I expected.

*thunk*

So, still haven't found my USB... not sure if you should use my cranes to make a wish to find it -or- continue on with what I originally started making the cranes for. I wonder, since I'm almost done and I really want to find it again but I've been working to that one wish for a while (school keeps getting in the way). Also, without the USB I have no pictures to put on here ; . ;....so making do with little faces.
Also, got kick out of the classroom that I normally eat lunch in by the sub, first time in the cafeteria O.o

Buso Renkin

Description:
The story begins when high school student is killed one night saving a mysterious girl from a monster, only to wake up in his school dorm, believing it to have been a dream. However, he soon finds out that dream wasn't a dream at all when a giant serpentine monster attacks him and his sister. The girl he saved, explains that the monster is a homunculus. Kazuki had been attacked and killed by it when he was rescuing her. However, she, feeling responsible for him, revived him by placing a Kakugane medallion in his chest, serving as a replacement heart.

How in the world do you pronounce it, since it seems to fluctuate. The last few episodes made me slightly mad. Episode 24 ends with an intense conflict that needs to be resolved...episode 25 was just there, I felt like nothing really happened and was a waste of time..episode 26 was way to squished together, and still left too many things open.

Random thing (wait this whole post is random).... I brought a USB to school yesterday to show my history teacher the rest of the pictures/ videos that would not attach to the email, since it was too big.....today it's missing
So posting more movies on here during winter break

Going to Christmas

As the title implies going to Christmas, free admin...no idea what its going to be like, and apparently I might have gone there before. Well, I'll find that out, going to continue updating on this post. I dislike tolls, now in the boonies. Merge on mapquest equals a u-turn. And got here safely...took some videos and pictures, will upload at home, since the phone is dying. Yay stopped by McDonalds, got a kids meal with sandy from "rise of the guardians". And now I'm home

Meeting

So today was the first student council meeting in a while (homecoming wiped us out, and then just got back from break). Shockingly the president is still the president, and that no one has suggested impeaching that person or something... I mean sure they are a nice person, kind, and caring; but when some one a president of a club that club should come before the other clubs, especially when he/she calls the meeting and constantly reminds everyone to be there and is late. And not shockingly, there was barely anyone there...yes I understand members forgetting due to having no meetings and some classes are loud. Though I didn't think officers would be also....

First day back from break

So today was the first day back, yay, since everyone loves going back to school after a week off...but I digress, I woke up and I didn't want to, and make me want to get out of bed and to school, my mom tells me its cold out.....sure I'll leave my nice warm bed to walk to school when someone tells me its cold, really what was she thinking...Moving on, in one of my classes I signed up for extra credit opportunities before the break, and found out I was not chosen for any of those particular things, and am now in the entertainment section of what we are doing... since I always wanted to be in front of people I may or may not know that are teachers and classmates, when I have stage fright....hahaha....yeah, this will be loads of fun.

Description:
When the evil spirit Pitch launches an assault on Earth, the Immortal Guardians team up to protect the innocence of children all around the world.

Couldn't say no to the movie, after seeing one trailer...had to watch the other trailers. at first I was wondering why is it so important to all the guardians, if it was mainly Sandy's issue. Absolutely funny :) (One of the few movies I have watched at the movie theater.)

Election Results

Yes, this is an unearthly hour for me to be awake, but I just couldn't sleep. I randomly decided that I should look how voting is going, since this year is a close call and all... and Obama wins reelection. Even though Florida's results have not come in yet, but it won't matter at this point since he already has 270 votes...I mention Florida, since I live here. Meaning when/ if I go to the inauguration it will be him speaking. Random side note, a person that I was texting earlier/yesterday said that they don't care and will never vote, my heart was like broken by that. I know its not my business, but that means that the person really can't complain, since he/she didn't/won't try to make a difference.

Yay~

Daylight Savings time!

- Princess Fluffy is feeling better, and turns out it was all allergies O.o Which is weird, since normally her allergies start acting up around spring, and normally it's not that bad if anything...

- Another happy note is it's a friend on mine's birthday!!! It was funny, the first thing out of her mouth, since she is now 18, was "I can now watch porn legally"... needless to say I was like wow really?

Today was super awesome, I hope everyone else had a great day.

Happy Halloween

Yay, Halloween... I like Halloween, then again I like cosplaying too. Sadly, Princess Fluffy was (I swear deathly) ill, I mean if we had planned for being zombies this year, she would have been great... I am not that mean to make her go out trick-or-treating with me, even if we did plan for zombies, not sure how long she would have lasted since the tissues were one with her.

Casper

Description:
A paranormal expert and his daughter bunk in an abandoned house populated by 3 mischievous ghosts and one friendly one.

A family classic, in many ways. It has a theme of family importance and friendship themes. Overall just loved the movie, but could do without all of the screaming, which goes with the ghost thing so its all good. I really liked the design of everything.

*Not sure if I liked the bonus material or the movie more.

When power leads man toward arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the areas of a man’s concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of his existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses, for art establishes the basic human truths which must serve as the touchstone of our judgment.

Hahaha....ha?

So today was a short schedule for my school, since I don't know how others work...and we basically had a lock down right before a lunch (not a real lock down, because they didn't say it). And the last period only lasted 15 minutes, which my friend decided to use to tell me about things I didn't wish to know or hear...

Remember Me

Description:
A romantic drama centered on two new lovers: Tyler, whose parents have split in the wake of his brother's suicide, and Ally, who lives each day to the fullest since witnessing her mother's murder.

I thought it was going to be worse, since I did not like Robert Patterson at all in the Twilight Saga. But this movie made me see he is not that bad of an actor…now if only I could like Kristen Stewart more. Moving on, the movie was more music than anything. The ending seems a little tossed in, not really the closure I was looking for. Also, apparently it takes the death of two kids to notice that one needs to care more. If both die at 22, does that mean they are going to lock the girl up in a room when she turns 22, so she does not die?

The Lorax

Description:
A 12-year-old boy searches for the one thing that will enable him to win the affection of the girl of his dreams. To find it he must discover the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world.

Ah...a wonderful memory of my youth, wow now I feel old. It has been so long since I watched something based on Dr. Seuss, even though  we used to watch "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" every year, but we haven't done that in years...and the fact I haven't read the Lorax since elementary school. Must say, that I liked it greatly, even though I didn't like all the singing and O'Hare; sure singing is nice and all, but it was all really required, and I know I like to be on the bad guy side, but he was just too...bleh.... Nice moral to the story, now if anyone listens is another story, I do wish people would care more... I have a soft spot for fluffy things, so when the bears were leaving I felt a little heartbroken.

Dilbert

Description:
Cubicle denizen Dilbert toils away at Path-E-Tech which makes undefined products. The focus is on his survival amongst a moronic boss, hostile co-workers and his malevolent pet, Dogbert.

Season 1:
Animated version of a popular comic strip. Didn't check to see what order I was supposed to watch them in, so no idea if I watched them in order. Luckily, it was not confusing >.>... It was funny had workplace humor, it has been a while, since I watched a cartoon....my TV hates me basically...Lot of things I liked, and the only things I didn't like was due to my phone deciding not to work at some points.

Update: It was not in order, tehehe... oops

Death Note

Description:
Yagami Light is an ace student with great prospects, who's bored out of his mind. One day he finds the "Death Note": a notebook from the realm of the Death Gods, with the power to kill people in any way he desires. With the Death Note in hand, Light decides to create his perfect world, without crime or criminals. However, when criminals start dropping dead one by one, the authorities send the legendary detective L to track down the killer, and a battle of wits, deception and logic ensues...

It was good. Light has creepy laughter, not sure if that was what they were going for, or if it just happened to work like that. Sad, that "L" died, I thought he would get "Kira" and it would end all happy and stuff like other animes. I felt like they were getting to the ending in a round about way. Matt should have gotten more screen time and "Mello"; not sure if after sometime he went a little crazy, was crazy for the beginning and I didn't notice, or if was that "Near" got to be "L". Oddly enough I can say that I liked the ending, wonderful closure to a great anime with no openings for a terrible spin-off, even though Light flipped and it seemed slightly pathetic.

Death Note

Description:
Light, a bright student who stumbles across a mystical notebook that has the power to kill any person whose name he writes in it. Light decides to launch a secret crusade to rid the streets of criminals. Soon, the student-turned-vigilante finds himself pursued by a famous FBI criminal pro-filer known only by the alias L.

Awesome, forgot a lot from when I first watched, enough to merge the two movies mentally in my head. So I was sort of heartbroken at the end  when I thought there was more. I like how no one pays attention to what Light really says, since many times it's like blinking lights going "I am Kira!". Loved Ryuk's addiction to apples and his slight need for attention. Liked the strategies that both "L" and "Kira" use in their little game, and honestly thought that something would be messed up before I watched it the first time, but I feel that they did a great job.

Description:

My computer hates this disc, and refuses to play it any longer....that's when this one is posted after the sequel movie. Good movie, makes me question why they are friends in the first place. I wonder who owns the "Mystery Machine, since Fred loves it and takes care if it; yet when they went their separate ways Shaggy kept it... Didn't see the bad guy coming, and I think they were missing a few marbles.

How to Date an Otaku Girl

Description:
College student Mutou Ookawa catches a glimpse of Ametani Yuiko, his co-worker from a former part-time job and falls immediately in love. Summoning up his courage, he eventually confesses his feelings to her and she responds "...but I'm a fujoshi." Mutou not having the slight clue what "fujoshi" means, immediately responds "That's OK!"

It was a funny movie, with barely any real conflict. As Princess Fluffy and I were watching it, she kept asking questions, since she had/ probably still has no idea what was going on at some points. Only two conflicts(?), them getting use to each other, and then her moving. Sure, it's more realistic than anything I have watched up to now, but I had gotten used to it.
Spoilers:
Some things to point out, she warns him that she is an otaku, because there has been negativity towards otakus. It's a big deal to hold hands in Japan, since most Japanese people do not show affection such as holding hands and hugging in public. The fish symbolize their relationship.

Marvel Anime: Wolverine

Description:
Logan learns that his girlfriend Mariko Yashida (who disappeared a year ago) has been taken to Tokyo by her father Shingen (who is the head of the Japanese crime syndicate Kuzuryu and a supplier of A.I.M.) in order to be wed to Hideki Kurohagi. Wolverine goes on a quest to rescue Mariko and defeat Shingen and Hideki while encountering some opponents along the way.

Action packed, was pretty good. Didn't like the ending at all. Sure, I was expecting people to die... but some last words made no sense, or there was no real reason for them to die and it be a big deal. In the Marvel Anime: Iron Man, I liked how Logan randomly showed up, and thought that scene something suggesting it happened, would, well, happen...but the most that happened was "Did you hear about Tony Stark?"...Yeah, not much. Questions: How does Yukio blend in? Her outfit screams " I'm an assassin" or at least something to take note of...How does Yukio carry all of her weapons? At one point she was throwing tons of kunais...And what happened to his jacket? One second he is wearing it, next it's flying...in the end he is putting it on, like nothing happened and it was on him the whole time.

Marvel Anime:Iron Man

Description:
Tony Stark goes to Japan to produce a new arc reactor power station and showcase the Iron Man Dio, a new prototype armor, that will replace him when he retires. However, the Iron Man Dio goes out of control and it is up to Tony as Iron Man to stop it along with an organization called the Zodiac. Iron Man even gains an ally in JSDF operative Captain Nagato Sakurai piloting the Ramon Zero armor that his military group made for him. Iron Man soon discovers that his old friend Ho Yinsen (who Tony thought was dead upon his first time as Iron Man) is alive and is operating the Iron Man Dio armor for the Zodiac's goals.

Action packed, with drama, and a dash of romance. I liked it overall, would have liked it more if someone didn't watch over my shoulder, when the person has things to do and can watch it on a bigger screen that's not over my shoulder. Didn't like Tony's hair at first, but it grew on me. Doesn't really explain anything, but shows how easily people are used. It was obvious who the bad guy was....

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children

Description:
An ex-mercenary is forced out of isolation when three mysterious men kidnap and brainwash the city's children afflicted with the Geostigma disease.

I was very lost due not playing the video games or watching the other movies. Lovely graphics, and plot if I knew the plot...hopefully. It kind of made me want to get off my lazy butt, buy the game, and look for the other movie/animes.....but laziness won. I doubt the movie/animes will help a lot though, because there are not a total of seven movie/animes....oh well. Cloud's bike breaks many laws of physics, but so does many things about the movie....video games...

I would love to learn more about it, is I guess what it boils down to

Star Driver

Description:
Star Driver takes place on the fictional Southern Cross Isle. One night, a boy named Takuto washes up on shore swimming from the mainland. He later enrolls in Southern Cross High School as a freshman and makes new friends. However, beneath the school is a group of mysterious giants called Cybodies, which can be controlled by humans in an alternate dimension known as Zero Time. Takuto, The "Galactic Pretty Boy", finds himself dragged into opposition with the "Glittering Crux Brigade", a mysterious group that intends to take possession of the island's Cybodies for their own purposes as well as break the seals of the island's four Shrine Maidens, whose powers prevent the Cybodies from functioning outside of Zero Time.

It was okay, watched it here and there at school (yes, I watch anime[and comics too] at school like an evil person that doesn't listen to rules)...Forgot about it when I only had two episodes left (what was I thinking???)...I think I was mad at one of the characters. The end was left too open, and feel as if there were too many questions left unanswered. So I hope they have another season, yet at the same time I don't, because it would be too much and that they took care of everything? Weird that some of the characters have annoying voices yet sing wonderfully....

The Legend of Zorro

Description:
Despite trying to keep his swashbuckling to a minimum, a threat to California's pending statehood causes the adventure-loving Alejandro de la Vega -- and his wife, Elena -- to take action.

The sequel to "The Mask of Zorro".  Another great movie, I need to find another way to rate movie....like a fixed thing... Anyhow tried to figure out the age that "Zorro" was in the first movie: he was bigger than his 10 year old kid, making him older than 10...so he is at least 10 years older than "Elèna"....yet she seems more mature, and they seem the age-ish give or take a few years. And was the kid in freakin' training to be the next "Zorro", since he had a lot of good moves. Liked the ending it was funny. Also, what is up with the people that love her, they are all crazy in someway.

The Mask of Zorro

Description:
A young thief, seeking revenge over the death of his brother, is trained by the once great, but aged Zorro, who is also seeking a vengeance of his own.

I like the movie a lot. At points in the movie I felt that Zorro was a Hispanic-ninja, because it was sneaky and somewhat calculated, when I say ninja I am not referring to the "Naruto" type of ninja. At other times it was an epic fail on him trying to be awesome, which brought the comedy to another wise action packed sad movie. Confused on what their ages are supposed to be, since before the twenty years she is an infant and he a young kid, yet after it seems like they are supposed to be the same age. I wonder: if Zorro is a Hispanic ninja, what do you call a group of Hispanic ninjas, since there is only one Zorro... I think the beginning and the ending are way too similar and that he is somehow actually related the the original.

The Woman in Black

Description:
A young lawyer travels to a remote village where he discovers the vengeful ghost of a scorned woman is terrorizing the locals.

Okay movie. Didn't want to watch it at first, since it seemed boring and that sometimes I forget that an actor can be anything but one character...which I kind of did with now so far three people: Daniel Radcliffe, Kristen Stewart, and Robert Patterson. The movie would have been better if maybe I had watched it in a theater, so the sound was not amazing, and we could not really hear them as they whispered...since it was a ghost movie there was a lot of that. Didn't see the ending coming, and since it ending like that does that mean the entire movie was basically useless. since nothing really happens when you get down to it. Not sure what the point of the movie was....

The Cat Returns

Description:
The story is of a girl named Haru, a quiet, shy and unassuming high school student who has a suppressed ability to talk with cats. One day, she saves a darkly-colored, odd-eyed cat from being hit by a truck on a busy road. The cat is Lune, Prince of the Cat Kingdom. As thanks, the cats give Haru gifts of catnip and mice, and she is offered the Prince's hand in marriage. Her mixed reply is taken as a yes.

Interesting movie. One of the few movies I can't really foretell much on. After watching it, Princess and I were trying to figure out the movie title; normally we don't talk about movies too in-depth, since most don't call for any real thinking, and sure we love things to be easy sometimes it's too easy and we want to know our brains are working. The literal translation makes more sense to me, The Cat's Repayment, but this one makes more sense on a higher level of thought.

Happily N'ever After

Description:
An alliance of evil-doers, led by Frieda, looks to take over Fairy Tale Land. But when Ella realizes her stepmother is out to ruin her storybook existence, she takes a dramatic turn and blossoms into the leader of the resistance effort.

I liked the movie....It was a different twist to a well loved fairy tale: Cinderella...I liked how it doesn't make Hollywood go into a Cinderella craze as Snow White and it was not really part of that fairy tale phase that is going on right now. Yes, she has a backbone, yet not as bad to where the movie is centered around her an her female power or pride, yes, that's a wonderful message to put across to young females, and that it's more realistic. Loved the humor, and how they put all the fairy tales together....though I wonder with all of the fairy tales, why is it one kingdom, we need more Prince Charming's and Castles.

Scooby-doo 2: Monsters Unleashed

Description:
Mystery Inc. must save Coolsville from an attack of past unmasked monsters brought to life by an evil masked figure trying to "unmask" the gang.

The movie was good. Personally if I turned into a super genius, I'm staying that way...but Scooby is a dog so I guess automatically he wanted to go back. Still confused on what stage everyone is in life, due to the movies and shows of Scooby-Doo...why can't they simple stick with one age or very slowly progress...or maybe even go flashback to. Random thought: if Velma tends to like the bad guy, in some way, which can be seen through other movies and some episodes of shows (besides when she dates Shaggy briefly) does that mean that Patrick is evil, will be evil, or is the real mastermind behind the whole thing. Also, at what time setting is Scooby-Doo in, I was getting whiplash from this movie alone...Daphne's go go boots, Velma's (?) leather disco outfit, and the abundance of modern technology...what the muffins people stick with a time zone....

The Fantastic 4

Description:
A group of astronauts gain superpowers after a cosmic radiation exposure and must use them to oppose the plans of their enemy, Doctor Victor Von Doom.

Remembered it differently, but I have bad memory so… good movie, ends with possibilities of a sequel. It has some interesting questions, does that mean you can shave rubber since he didn't cut himself… and things of that nature. I kind of feel like reading the comics to learn the back story...but then again there are a lot to read, especially since the movie gave it more hype. My favorite personality was Johnny, since he was the comedy, helped progress the plot by making Ben hate it more, and by being the person to bring everyone outside.

Kiss Me Princess

Description:
When a prince's soon-to-be-bride elopes two days before their wedding, her desperate family dresses up their young son and send him to get married in her place. With his deep blue eyes and flowing blond hair (and strategically placed apples), nobody suspects the pretty pubescent standing before them. But how long can he keep up the charade? Despite the odds stacked against them, the two princes share adventures and intimacies in a story filled with imagination and visual delight.

Liked the bonus at the end. Answers all the questions in the end, that it creates. Also, has a ending for everyone, most are happy. At first, I was dying inside due to the slow progression but it quickly picked up. I saved lots of pictures because I liked the drawing (and I loved the designs of clothes/hair). It was the third Manhaw I ever read, and so far the third I one I liked enough to save so many pictures; it's on the list of things to find and buy that's for sure. Not very graphic so it could go for the shounen ai rating, but I found it in the yaoi section and that things were implied, just skipped.

Legend of The Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole

Description:
When a young owl is abducted by an evil Owl army, he must escape with new-found friends and seek the legendary Guardians to stop the menace.

Wasn't to enthused to watch a bunch of birds...Watched the movie as I was eating dinner and pelts not the most happy thing to see, it was awkward and didn't feel like eating for a little. The movie was okay-ish, not amazing but not where I wanted to gag myself with a spoon. It went slow motion at the weirdest parts and the speed up then back to slow motion. Once again another movie that could have a sequel, yet none.

Magic Knights Rayearth

Description:
Hikaru Shidou, Umi Ryuuzaki, and Fuu Hououji are on a field trip to the Tokyo Tower with their respective schools. The girls are blinded by a flash of light and hear a voice calling for the Legendary Magic Knights to save Cephiro. They fall through the sky into another world, Cephiro. Once there, they meet Master Mage Clef. Clef explains, "[In Cephiro], one's will has the ability to change reality for better or worse. The dark fears in people's hearts become monsters, while a well-intended wish can do miracles. One person, the Pillar, whose will is stronger than anyone else's, is responsible for maintaining through her prayers the well-being of Cephiro."

I liked it, slightly confusing. It turns out that everything misunderstood. Clamp likes to use characters over again, I knew that but not to the extent of magical animals people posses…also the characters that posses the same animals seem to be similar too: Kuro-pu and Umi are the only ones that seem to really get mad at Mokona, Fuu and Fai both smart with hidden talents, also Syran and Hikaru are naive and ready to jump in on what they believe no matter what. Curious as to why Mokona couldn't talk, and things like that. Not sure which of the three girls is overall Clamp's favorite: Hikaru the leader, Fuu the person with the love interest and more abilities, or Umi the comedy (all personal opinions) .

Dark Shadows

Description:
An imprisoned vampire, Barnabas Collins, is set free and returns to his ancestral home, where his dysfunctional descendants are in need of his protection.

Great movie. Saw it in the theater...oh my google yes I do walk outside, and sometimes watch the movie in the theater. I am not sure if I should watch the original show, because I now feel as if I well be let down, since it's black and white (yes I get bored easily with lack of color), and that I might expect things from the movie, as I do when I read a book then watch the movie...expecting too much. I wonder if there well be a sequel, with the way it ended and all. Also, I would like to see how the two vampires relation turns out...and what werewolf?!?!?!

Alpha and Omega

Description:
Two young wolves at opposite ends of their pack's social order are thrown together into a foreign land and need each other to return home, but love complicates everything.

It was an okay movie, not too amazing in any form. I loved the tails, nice and puffy. Comedy was okay, and the birds should learn not to fly when one of the Eastern wolves howl as they fall at first. I think the omega is mental unstable in his quest for adventure. The alpha..didn't like her too much, due to her attitude at first. And her sister was okay, though I wonder how her sister is an alpha and she is an omega..or the fact that two brown wolves create a brown and white....Loved the mother wolf, she was well crazy.
***Note: Howling has magical abilities.

Oppai Chanbara: Striptease Samurai Squad

Summary:
This over the top release from Japan spoofs everything from video games, to martial arts movies, to sexploitation cinema, as it follows the story of Lili, a warrior who wields a deadly sword style that can only be practiced under three conditions: the fight must be life-or-death, the fighter must be female, and the fighter must, of course, be stacked.

First let me start by saying this title is an outright lie. Pulling out your tits is not considered a striptease, the "samurai" style is hardly there, and there is no squad. An okay movie? Not sure I had troubles reading the subtitles… yeah…some things I would not like to see too much in a movie. Plot was confusing, can't say why that would give the plot a way. I feel as if the plot gave me mind-rape but the visual-rape was more so and happened more often than the mind…so…I mean I guess it depends on the audiences taste, and I'm sure it was mainly directed at males.

The Avengers

Summary:
Nick Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D. assembles a team of superhumans to save the planet from Loki and his army.

Great movie. Saw it in theater...oh my google yes I do walk outside, and sometimes watch the movie in the theater. I found Hawkeye to be well useless most of the movie, but he was being controlled...Black Widow was cool, I liked the back story they gave her. Tony Stark, the narcissist we love...Thor, I now want to find the movie "Thor", though I wonder about Loki...I mean he is the bad guy in both movies, does he not learn? The Hulk was funny...Not sure what I thought of Captain America....Can't wait for the second movie.
Sorry, could not help myself.--->

Fear and Loathing in Las Vagas

Description:
An oddball journalist and his psychopathic lawyer travel to Las Vegas for a series of psychedelic escapades.

Interesting movie. Very crazy, due to the drugs. The plot was hard to understand at points, once again due to the drugs. I liked the movie a lot, I can see why it was a box office failure, but it was based on something real, those movies don't tend to do too well...Unless it's a movie based on a real dream with a sparkling vampire...

Godzilla vs King Ghidorah

Description:
Time travelers use Godzilla in their scheme to destroy Japan to prevent the country's future economic reign.

Otaku:
Why is it that in every movie, everyone forgets that Godzilla is for the most part good. Just because King Ghidorah has three heads doesn't means he knows how to use the heads effectively to try and win against Godzilla.

Crazy:
The technology was good in this film. There was also some futuristic stuff going on. Found it interesting how past and present working together. A lot of action going throughout movie.Killing the first Godzilla seemed like a good idea. Though I found the second Godzilla bigger, stronger, and meaner. Didn't care for the three headed one, heads too random, one strike the others miss???When you watch check the middle one for more strikes.

Ultra Man

Description:
In the near future, sinister aliens and giant prehistoric monsters threaten civilization! The only one equipped to handle these disasters is the Science Patrol, a special police force with high-tech weapons and vehicles at their disposal. Led by Captain "Cap" Muramatsu, the Science Patrol is ready to protect the Earth from the ravaging monsters. But when the situation becomes desperate, Hayata, one of the Patrol's members holds the key to our salvation. Fate has given Hayata the ability to secretly transform into an amazing, superpowered giant from space. A being known as Ultraman!

Ultra Man, had multiple episodes (it also has spin-offs which I haven't watched yet), some were cute others dumb as door nail, and some ugly monsters too, don't want to leave them out cause every one needs love. There is something for everyone in them, you have a father protecting his family, children liking some of the monsters. Ultra Man accidentally coming here and staying in giving his life for the one he took by mistake, makes him a hero of sorts. But he only came to  help when man-kind could not do it alone. Also some of the episodes I watched would switch for no reason to Japanese then back. But fun for the young family viewing.

Mirror, Mirror

Description:
An evil queen steals control of a kingdom and an exiled princess enlists the help of seven resourceful rebels to win back her birthright.

I expected more of the classical story type that Disney has imprinted on my brain. Loved the seven dwarfs and the puppy love. The dresses looked amazing, though I wonder how much they weighed/cost, and if they got wet. Comedy, action, and romance what more could I ask for in a movie....well actually a lot, but it was a good movie. I like that the princess takes a dominant role in trying to save the kingdom, but since other movies are doing that....not too liking of the idea. Hollywood needs to back down after a couple movies of basically the same thing too soon...example two Snow White themed movies that Snow White is a dominant type of person, that come out in relatively the same amount of time. Not sure if I want to watch the other one, or if I will just wait till the princess thing rides out.

Kung Pow! Enter the Fist

Description:
A rough-around-the-edges martial arts master seeks revenge for his parent's death.

It was a funny movie? Not sure what I was thinking to watch the movie...Still not sure what the plot was, nor do I plan to watch this again.Yes, sometimes it is fun to make fun of foreign movies, but I think there is a limit, and this movie passed my limit. I like parodies normally, but once again limits... the plot was ....wait what plot??

Vampires Suck

Description:
A spoof of vampire-themed movies, where teenager Becca finds herself torn between two boys. As she and her friends wrestle with a number of different dramas, everything comes to a head at their prom.

Parody of the Twilight Saga. I think that's enough to be said. Becca is suicidal in many scenes through the movie, more or less than Bella in the corresponding scenes in Twilight. I don't really like the Twilight Saga movies, liked the books, and normally love parodies…so this was the shining light at the end of the tunnel after seeing the movies. Still trying to figure her father's issue out....loneliness?…crazy?…both?…or something else?
